When you turn on that feature, the app automatically switches to dark mode. Go to Settings > Chat Settings and toggle on Auto-Night Mode. To preview a chat, simply press and hold its profile picture in your chat list. To edit any element’s color, tap on it and then select your desired color. Once you are done editing, tap on Save Theme and your customized theme will be saved and applied.

Then choose Change Number and follow the instructions. This will move all messages, clients, and media to your new mobile number.
